Cost:   £50 to play; £25 for auditors

Don't be put off by the title - previous attendees have all come away saying they were so glad they took the plunge. Don't just take my word for it - here's a quote from one of last year's attendees:

"Carla has such a lovely way of putting people at their ease and getting a point across in a very relaxed and fun way."

It's a wonderful opportunity to get 1:1 tailored advice on whatever you want to focus on - technique, interpretation, or even just how to play the instrument without feeling you're crippling yourself! (Last year's almost unanimous epiphany revolved around posture.)

The plan for the class is that there will be 7 playing spots, each lasting around 25 minutes. The class will be unaccompanied, so please pick solo pieces to play. Carla is also happy to hear small ensembles (duets/trios) if you prefer, but these must be a majority of low flutes please! Please aim to bring pieces which are around 5-7 mins in length - feel free to get in touch if you need any suggestions!

For those of you without low flutes but who would like to play, please reserve a slot letting us know what you need and we'll see what we can do to source an instrument for you.

If you're not quite feeling ready to play there are auditor spots, too, though we limit these so that we can keep the class small and friendly.
